ERNST & YOUNG NAMES DAVID FERDMAN AS A FINALIST FOR 2004 ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARDS

Houston, TX • June 7, 2004 • Ernst & Young announced that David Ferdman, CEO of CyrusOne, was one of a handful of candidates selected as a finalist for Ernst & Young's 2004 Entrepreneur of the YearŽ awards recognizing local Houston entrepreneurs. A prestigious business award for entrepreneurs, the award honors the most outstanding entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

David Ferdman, CEO of CyrusOne, Houston's largest full-service data center, was excited to learn of the recent announcement. "In a city like Houston, rich in entrepreneurial spirit, it is a tremendous accolade to be named as a Finalist by the committee at Ernst & Young," stated Ferdman. This year's gala will recognize entrepreneurs from a diverse range of industry segments in the following categories: Realizing Potential, Services, Retail & Consumer Products, Energy Services, Technology, Financial Services, and Health Sciences.

Winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at the Hilton of the Americas in downtown Houston on June 24, 2004. Houston's winners will then be eligible to participate in Ernst & Young's National Entrepreneur of the YearŽ awards competition, the preeminent program honoring outstanding owners of fast-growing companies.

Previous Entrepreneur of the YearŽ award winners include Michael Dell of Dell Computer Corporation, Steve Case of America Online, and Ed Iacobucci of Citrix Systems. Founded and produced by Ernst & Young, the Entrepreneur of the YearŽ program is nationally sponsored event. Recipients of the Entrepreneur of the YearŽ award become lifetime members of the Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame.
