Bruce Buell selected as President of
the Gulf Coast Chapter of Association for
Facilities Engineering

company’s manager of facilities engineering
was recently selected to serve as President
of the Association for Facilities Engineering
(AFE) for the Gulf Coast Chapter.

in the maintenance and improvement of facilities

A native Houstonian,
Bruce has an extensive 30 year background
in institutional design, construction and
operations, 10 years of which he spent as
an electrical design consultant in the petrochemical
industry with assignments overseas in countries
including Venezuela, United Arab Emirates
and Saudi Arabia. Throughout his career,
Bruce has managed numerous construction
projects in the area, some of which include
Hermann Hospital, Northeast Medical Center
Hospital, Doctors Hospital-Airline, Kingwood
Medical Center Hospital and Mall and Doctors
Hospital-Tidwell.
Buell’s
top focus as the newly elected President
of AFE is to help increase participation
by current members as well as drive new
membership. “Membership in AFE brings
opportunities to learn, lead and influence
through networking, as well as career development
and professional certification,” shared
Bruce who achieved his Certified Plant Maintenance
Manager certification through the organization.
