Please see the below maintenance schedule, as you may be aware of additional sound emanating from the campus.

Located from 2305 - 2705 South Ellis St., this campus is comprised of 8 data centers on an 85-acre site.

Periodically, there is a need to run, test and maintain the back-up power system for the campus.

Routine no-load generator runs are ongoing weekdays between 9 am - 5 pm.


UPDATE: 

Generator Testing – August 11, 2026

Generator testing will take place Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 7 am - 7 pm MST as part of required substation maintenance. Several generators at the Chandler campus will be running to provide safe working conditions for critical electrical switchgear operations.

We will also have additional events on the following dates:

  • August 19 from 7:00 am  7:00 pm
  • August 20 from 7:00 am  7:00 pm
  • September 1 from 7:00 am  7:00 pm

 

Generator Testing - May 27, 2026

Scheduled generator runs beginning May 27, 2026 and concluding June 10, 2026 are in support of ongoing electrical infrastructure improvements associated with the new substation.

Additional preparatory work was completed ahead of the scheduled activities, reducing the original generator run schedule from eight days to four days.

Scheduled activities are planned for the following dates and times:

  • June 1 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • June 3 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • June 8 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • June 10 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

The scheduled maintenance activity on June 10, 2026 is associated with work originally scheduled for April 30, 2026. The activity was previously postponed to allow for additional review.


Generator Testing - May 26, 2026

Generator testing will take place Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 7 am - 7 pm MST as part of ongoing substation work. Several generators at the Chandler campus will be running to provide safe working conditions for critical electrical switchgear operations.


Generator Testing – April 23, 2026

Generator testing will take place Thursday, April 23, 2025, from 7 am - 7 pm MST as part of ongoing substation work. Several generators at the south portion of the campus will be running to provide safe working conditions for critical electrical switchgear operations.

We will also have additional events on the following dates:
  • April 28 from 7:00 am 7:00 pm
  • April 29 from 7:00 am  7:00 pm
  • April 30 from 7:00 am  7:00 pm

Generator Testing – February 5, 2026

Generator testing will take place Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 7 am - 7 pm MST as part of ongoing substation work. Several generators at the south portion of the campus will be running to provide safe working conditions for critical electrical switchgear operations.

Generator testing will take place Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 7 am - 7 pm MST as part of ongoing substation work. Several generators at the south portion of the campus will be running to provide safe working conditions for critical electrical switchgear operations.

Generator testing will take place Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 7 am - 7 pm MST as part of ongoing substation work. Several generators at the south portion of the campus will be running to provide safe working conditions for critical electrical switchgear operations.
